Thinking about taking the plunge and learning to dive, but short on time and have already organised your accommodation in Cairns? This option is designed for those who do not wish to spend the night on the reef and complete your PADI Open Water certification in only four days.
Day 1 & 2: Learn the theory in the classroom and practice basic scuba diving skills, safety drills, and correct ascending and descending techniques during swimming pool training sessions.
Day 3 & 4: On board Evolution, travel to two fantastic dives sites on the Great Barrier Reef to conduct a series of training skills in an open water environment. Two dives are completed each day.
On completion of your course, your instructor will present you with your Scuba Diving license. Your PADI Open Water Dive Certificate allows you to scuba dive up to a depth of 18 metres (60 feet), book certified dive tours, rent diving equipment, and take part in advanced PADI diving courses should you wish to continue your training.
